ABOUT ME: DR. RAJESH PRADHANANG
The Homoeopathic system of medicine has been used in Nepal since the Rana regime. A lack of qualified homoeopathic physicians led to an increasing number of pseudo homoeopaths, who only sought income and defamed the real meaning of homeopathy. A few qualified homoeopaths tried their best to uplift the system, but without avail. For this reason there is no homoeopathic council yet. This whole scenario, along with being the son of homoeopathic physician Dr. Krishna Bhagat Pradhanang, inspired me to study homoeopathy and to make a change.
I received the full affection and support of my parents, along with my dear brothers, to engage in the long struggle to study homoeopathic medicine. I traveled to different parts of India to search for homoeopathic medical colleges and finally I was fortunate to be admitted to Pratap Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (with the help of Dr. Ambica Gyawali) .
My mission to study homoeopathy became meaningful when I was accepted to study with Dr. D.J. Sutarwala, with help from my senior Dr. Amit Gupta. After proper guidance and training wth Dr. Sutarwala, along with a college education, I was able to gain a depth of understanding of homoeopathy and know its real meaning and efficacy. My faith in homoeopathy became even deeper due to the highly respected teacher Dr.Sutarwala, and I was proud to be his student.
In Sept. 1998 I received D.H.M.S, the four year course certificate, from West Bengal Council affiliated with the Central Council of Homoeopathy. When I returned home, I felt more confident as a homoeopathic physician, having learned the concept of Classical Homoeopathy from my respected teacher.
In the same year I started to run a private clinic on the birthday of my teacher Dr. D.J. Sutarwala, and I also created a free homoeopathic dispensary at Thai Kirti Monastery, Kirtipur, with help from Vikku Sudarshan Mahasthavir. While in private practice I started to write articles in different newspapers and magazines and gave interviews on televisions and F.M stations about the homoeopathic system of medicine. After working at school as a homoeopathic physician and in the dispensary of Soyambhu monasteries, my area of work spread.. I worked as a Liasion Officer of Nepal homeopathic Medical College, Biratnagar (eastern side of the country) since 2006 for 3 years. I worked as Producer and anchor of heath program-TAPAIKO SWASTHA in Channel Nepal for 16 months. I also worked as anchor of the health show in KATH FM 97.9 for six months sponsored by Kwality Biscuits Pvt.Ltd. But now I am running weekly Health program again in KATH FM 97.9 every Saturday morning since2008 .I was fortunate to establish His Holiness Buddha Maitreya and Healing Center at Swoyambhu, Kathmandu-15 with the love, care, blessings, kindness and support of His Holiness Buddha Maitreya, since 15th December 2005. We provide facilities like: His Holiness Buddha Maitreya meditation System, Pathology, ECG, Psychological counseling and Homeopathic Treatment, following repertorization with the help of a computer. |
